Become a Covenant Partner
Becoming a VMM Covenant Partner simply means that you commit to support VMM each and every month at any amount that you feel comfortable with. Many people choose to give to VMM on a regular basis because it's easy to do and they feel great knowing that they're making a difference every month of the year! You may choose to give in one of two ways:
Electronic Funds Transfer
Enrollment in our safe, convenient Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Program means that we receive a donation from your checking account each month. It takes two minutes for you to complete the EFT Program Form and then you don't have to worry about remembering to give to VMM each month - we take care of the rest! Check
We will send you pre-addressed envelopes and all you need to do is write a check and drop it in an envelope each month! If you are interested in becoming a Covenant Partner or if you would like more information, please click here.
Stock, Tributes & Memorials
Gift of Stock
A gift of long-term appreciate securities, either publicly traded or from a closely-held company, may provide you with greater tax advantages than a gift of cash. You may deduct the current fair market value as a charitable gift and completely avoid any capital gains tax on the appreciation. For more information about donating stock, please contact VMM’s Development Office.
Tributes
Tributes are a wonderful way to honor a current or former missioner, family member or friend through a gift to VMM in their honor. Consider a tribute gift to VMM at life’s milestones -- birthdays, Mother’s/Father’s Day, anniversaries, Christmas, Easter or anytime! A note will be sent to your honoree to acknowledge your gift in their name. Please provide your honoree’s address, the type of and date of the special occasion and any personal notes that may be included in the acknowledgement letter.
Memorials
Memorials are a special gift to VMM given in memory of someone who has passed away. Memorials can be given following the death of a loved one, at the anniversary of their death, on their birthday, at holidays or anytime. A note will be sent to the family of the deceased to inform them of your gift.
Planned Gifts
VMM welcomes planned gifts in the form of Bequests or Trusts and Life Insurance and can assist donors who wish to include any of these in their estate planning. Making a bequest or any other type of planned gift can give tax benefits to the donor, while providing long term support for VMM. Bequest
This is the simplest kind of planned gift - a provision in your will or living trust which names VMM as a beneficiary. Bequests can be made of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or a specific asset.
Life Insurance
Matured policies or new policies to which you commit to paying the premiums may be gifted to VMM. Income tax charitable deductions are available for the value of a matured insurance policy and for premium payments made by you.
Matching Gifts
Would you like to see your gift do twice as much for VMM? Your company may be ready to help.
If you are a current employee, retired, or the spouse or widow(er) of an employee -- or a member of the Board of Directors – please contact VMM’s Development Office.
If your company does match gifts all you need to do is obtain a Matching Gift form from your employer’s human resources or payroll department. Complete the donor section of the form and submit it along with your donation. If you donated online, please send it separately with a note detailing your online donation. VMM processes the form and sends it directly to your employer. Your employer will then send us a Matching Gift – it’s that easy!
