We Walk Sightless Among Miracles

Days pass and years vanish,

and so often we walk sightless among miracles.

Loving God, fill our eyes with seeing

and our minds with knowing.

Let there be moments when your Presence - like lightning -

illuminates the darkness in which we walk...

Then we shall awaken to the sacred all around us

and we will exclaim with reverent wonder:

How filled with awe I am at all the gifts that surround me,

and at those with whom I share my life.
