At least 23 years of age.
Many projects require advanced academic or professional knowledge and work experience. Most require a current license and/or college degree.
Commitment to learning a new language, if needed.
In addition to the above qualifications, a VMM missioner needs a loving knowledge of her/himself and a genuine concern for others. Working, living, and learning in a cross-cultural setting demands the missioner to listen first, and then act — remaining open to different ways of living and perceiving the world. Flexibility and a sense of humor are a must. They provide the missioner with an ongoing openness to entering a new culture as a stranger and a guest in a new land.
If you you meet these requirements, we invite you to complete the Application Form for VMM-USA.
