Tuesday's Reflection

Cecily was in
Chahal, Guatemala, for three years between 1996 and 2001. She taught high school classes in the bilingual, rural teacher training program and grade nine math and physics. Cecily served for two years on the VMM Board and has attended many of the assemblies. Cecily continues to travel to Latin America every year - sometimes as an interpreter. Her last delegation was in January 2008 with Rainbow of Hope for Children for the opening of a Mayan high school built with funds from Canadian donors in the Cunen in the department of El Quiché, Guatemala and to visit the NGO's projects in El Salvador.
