PresidentR. Timothy Muth is an attorney with the Milwaukee law firm, Reinhart, Boerner, Van Deuren, S.C., with a JD from Harvard Law School. Tim and his wife, Linda, have three children. His parish, St. John’s Lutheran Church, has a sister parish relationship with a church outside of Tonacatapeque in El Salvador, and Tim has made six trips to that country since 2001. He is a member of the Greater Milwaukee Synod El Salvador Committee and board member of Lutheran Campus Ministry of Greater Milwaukee. He is also the author of Tim’s El Salvador Blog at http://luterano.blogspot.com, which he began writing in 2004 as a way to make information about current news and events in El Salvador available to other English speakers.

| Vice President Stella Storch, OP is a Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa, with an MS in Private School Administration from the University of San Francisco. Stella serves as Coordinator of the Justice, Peace and Ecology Ministry for the congregation of Sisters of St (CSA) in Fond du Lac, WI, working with the Justice, Peace & Ecology committee to establish and carry out goals for CSA members and associates. She networks with a variety of groups to promote systemic change and to bring about the reign of God on earth.

Co-Treasurers
Marty and Elly Jordan both obtained their B.A. degrees from Hope College
in Michigan. The Jordans served as
VMM missioners for two years in El Salvador (2004-2006) where Elly served with
the SHARE Foundation and Marty served with FUNDAHMER. Currently, Elly is
attending law school at Michigan State University with the vocational goal of
providing low-income individuals and families with legal services. Marty is an
International Sales Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean for Neogen Inc.
Elly and Marty have also traveled extensively in India, Chile, Ghana, South
Africa, and Australia.

Secretary
Irene Senn has worked for 18 years as the Director of the
Office of Peace, Justice, and Integrity of Creation for the Sisters of St.
Francis of Assisi. Irene has an MDiv degree from St. Francis
Seminary in Milwaukee, WI. Irene’s commitment to the Catholic tradition of
justice has led her to activities at the forefront of issues such as sweat
shops in Guatemala, the U.S. government’s reaction to the attacks of 9/11,
water quality of the Great Lakes and the way that American Indians are
portrayed by the media. She and her husband are parents of four children and
four grandchildren.

Fr. Stan (Stanley) Uroda,
SVD is a priest in the Chicago
province of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). Stan worked as a missionary
in Ghana for eight years, primarily as a chaplain at a school. Upon his
return to the U.S., he was named Director of Formation of SVD Seminarians in
Chicago during the period of 1985-1990. Stan has also served in leadership of
the SVD Chicago Province. During that time, he played a key role in
establishing and supporting the partnership between VMM and the SVD (McKeowns
in Chicago and Quinns in West Virginia). In 2005 Stan was appointed the rector
of Divine Word Theologate in Chicago.

Mary Campbell has a law degree from Loyola University in
Chicago and served in the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office from 1978 to
1991. From 1994-1999, Mary was a VMM missioner, serving in El Salvador at the
Departamento de Derechos Humanos – Sinodo Luterano Salvadoreno. As a volunteer
missioner, Mary specialized in the training of human rights promoters in rural
communities in western El Salvador. Upon her return to the U.S., she served as
an attorney with Centro Legal in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, representing indigent
and low income clients in criminal, family and asylum immigration cases.
Currently, Mary is working for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America as
Associate Director for Companionship Education Advocacy for Latin America and
the Caribbean.

Gabe Hurrish
has a degree in Health Education and School Health Administration from the
University of Dayton, Ohio and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the
University of Boston, with a specialization in International Health and a minor
in Maternal & Child Health. His history of service includes: the Peace
Corps in Kenya from 1984-1986; as Medical Director of the American Refugee
Committee in the Sudan in 1988; with Food for the Hungry International in
Ethiopia, 1989-1993; relief/development consultant, Africa and South Africa,
1993-1995; with VMM as Central American Mission Coordinator, 1995-1998; as an
English teacher with the Association for International Teaching, Education and
Cultural Exchange in China, 1998-2008; as Secretariat for the Justice, Peace,
and Integrity of Creation Commission, and Solidarity with Southern Sudan
Project, in Italy, 2008-2009; and as Diocesan and Volunteer Coordinator with
the Southern Africa Catholic Bishops Conference of South Africa, 2010.
Currently, Gabe is serving as Religious Education Coordinator at St. Stephen
Catholic Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Su Hood was an original from Group 14 in London Colney. She
worked in Kenya 1975-1978 and returned to work in VMM administration in London,
England. In 1981 she came to the US to begin VMM USA. She worked full time
while getting her Masters in Theological Studies at Catholic Theological Union.
In 1984 she moved to Chicago to be the administrator at Genesis House. In 1987
she needed income and moved to Grand Rapids, MI. Now she is retired from mental
health administration and working as a Guardian ad Litem connected to the local
Probate Court responsible for appointing guardianship for adults. She is
also a facilitator for the County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Over the years
she has maintained contact with VMM and has done mission appeals and attended assemblies.

| MaryJo Runnoe worked in Uganda from 1982 – 1984. She received her Masters in Theological Studies at Catholic Theological Union. From 1990-1997 she served as the Executive Director of VMM. Currently Mary Jo is working in Hospice care for Wheaton Franciscan. Over the years she has maintained contact with VMM, helping with mission appeals and attending VMM assemblies.

Vic Doucette joined the VMM staff in 2011 and serves
as VMM's Executive Director. Vic has a Bachelors in Theology from
Marquette University, a Certificate in Training & Development from
Benedictine University, a Certificate in Human Resource Development, and a
Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University. Prior to serving
with VMM, Vic worked with the National Federation of Priest Councils in Chicago
as the Director of Programs and Publications and has over 12 years of
experience as the Director of Youth Ministry for several parishes. He has also
volunteered with The Upper Room, Still Point Theater Collective, The 8th Day
Center for Justice, taught English at an orphanage in Peru, worked on a clinic
in Ghana, and joined a medical mission in Bolivia. He developed the website www.sfxpeaceandjustice.org, a site dedicated to current social justice issues.

Mari Maldonado joined the VMM staff in June, 2011 and serves
as VMM's Development Director. Prior to serving with VMM, Mari worked with a
local non-profit as the Senior Manager of Fund Development and the Director of
the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program at St. Francis of Assisi
parish. She is a member of AIGA – the professional association for design and
YNPN Milwaukee - young nonprofit professionals network. Mari has been an
advocate for the poor and low-income individuals within her community and
abroad in Rome with the Sant’Egidio Community. Mari is actively involved with
her parish and serves as chairperson on the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council of
Milwaukee. She is pursuing her Bachelors degree in Professional Communication
with a minor in Graphic Design at Mount Mary College. Mari is an avid traveler
and has participated in several study abroad programs to Europe. The most
recent was to study Early Christian Theology in Rome.

Stephen White joined the VMM in July of 2010 and is the Central
America Mission Coordinator. Stephen provides support for the volunteer
missioners, maintains relationships with the project partners the VMM and
missioners work with, and recommends potential project partners. He was
raised in Spokane, WA and has been living in El Salvador for several years
studying Liberation Theology at the University of Central America and working
in social pastoral ministry with the Las Palmas parish.

Paula Zarling joined the VMM staff in October, 2011 and serves as VMM’s Office
Assistant. Paula has several years of experience as an administrative assistant
and customer service professional in the Milwaukee area. She specializes in
managing data and peer training. In 2004, Paula earned a Bachelor of Arts from
the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in anthropology, with a focus in
cultural and sociolinguistics. Included in her volunteer portfolio, Paula has
delivered Meals-On-Wheels and participated in Chore Days for the DuPage Senior
Citizen’s Council and performed
administrative and design work for Servants of St. Camillus Disaster Relief Services
(SOS-DRS). Currently, she assists at Bayview Community Center food
pantry, tutors grade school students in the evening. She
also carols with an independent group every year, touring several
Milwaukee-area rehabilitation centers, hospices, and hospital in-patient
centers.
